  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Pound chicken breasts to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  2. In one bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drizzle olive oil over chicken in another bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly for adherence.
  4. Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  5. Remove chicken and spoon marinara sauce on top followed by mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return to air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
  7. Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
