  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 T melted unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in apple cider.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and apple pie spice.
  4. Combine granulated sugar and egg into the cider mixture until smooth.
  5. Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Prepare a donut pan and fill each cavity with batter.
