  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half the basil.
  4. Cut pockets into each chicken breast and stuff with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Place stuffed chicken in the baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  6. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with remaining basil.
