  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8.5-by-4.5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a light-colored sauté pan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown; set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas and combine them with eggs until well mixed.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, dark brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients by adding the banana mixture to the dry ingredients; stir gently until just combined. Fold in the browned butter.
