  • 1/3 cup hot pepper jelly
  • Fresh thyme leaves or chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully combined.
  3. Add flour, salt, and garlic powder; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Chill the dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet, spaced two inches apart.
  7. Press a thumbprint into each ball and fill with hot pepper jelly.
  8. Bake for 13–15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before garnishing with herbs and serving warm or at room temperature.
