  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture alternately with sour cream to the butter mixture until combined.
  4. Spoon half the batter into the Bundt pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, add remaining batter, then swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
