  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • Extra mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Stir in sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt, kneading until soft and slightly sticky. Incorporate blue food coloring.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 to 1½ hours until doubled in size.
  4. For the filling, mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and mini chocolate chips in a bowl.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle, evenly spread filling over it, then roll tightly and slice into 12 rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise for another 30 to 45 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For icing, beat cream cheese and butter; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract with milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.
