  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Oil for frying or baking

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef (or chicken) until browned. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  2. Stir in shredded cabbage and grated carrots, cooking until tender yet crunchy (about five minutes).
  3. Mix in green onions, low-sodium soy sauce, and sesame oil. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper flat and place about two tablespoons of filling in the center. Fold the bottom corner up, tuck in the sides snugly, and roll tightly.
