  • 1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 block cream cheese, softened
  • 10 oz. can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 15 oz. can chili starter
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded (for topping)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 12 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 medium white onion, diced
  • Frito Scoops for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese with cooked ground beef, diced tomatoes, chili starter, onion, garlic powder, chili powder, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, hot sauce, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased oven-safe skillet and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until bubbly and melty.
  5. Remove from the oven and add any desired toppings such as diced green onions; return to the oven for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with Frito Scoops.
