Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large artisanal loaf
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic; cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  3. Slice the loaf into sections without cutting all the way through. Drizzle half of the garlic butter inside each cut, then fill with mozzarella followed by Parmesan.
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush remaining garlic butter over the top, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
