  • 14 oz turkey or chicken sausage, sliced into ¼-inch rounds
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley or green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté sliced sausage until browned (4-5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
