  • 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin pie puree
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (for coating)
  • 1 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice.
  3. In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
  5. Grease a donut pan lightly and fill each mold halfway with batter.
  6. Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack. While still warm, dip each donut in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
