  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the spices: cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add olive oil, plain yogurt, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and minced garlic to the spice mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over them and ensure they are evenly coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
