  • 3.4 ounces pumpkin spice instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • black food coloring
  • 2 red hots

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine spice cake mix, pumpkin spice pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, water, and oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  5. Let it cool in the pan for 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Chill for at least 1-2 hours before frosting.
