  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together chopped spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a clean surface and cut it in half.
  4. Spread the spinach-artichoke mixture evenly over one half of the pastry.
  5. Place the other half on top and gently press down.
  6. Cut into six long strips and twist each strip before rolling it into a swirl shape.
  7. Beat the egg with water and brush over each swirl for a golden finish.
  8. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 22-24 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
